Most small businesses fail to implement correct technological solutions that could develop a competitive edge.  Instead they rely on unreliable, ad-hoc support from multiple sources and end up with a dysfunctional infrastructure.  In turn technology becomes an Achilles’ heel.  Most of this is attributed to the perception that you can not have a well-managed IT infrastructure if you can not afford on-site IT staff.   Nothing could be further from the truth!
